Anishinaabe minajaadaa. Welcome to the November 2013 Word/phrase of the Month. Let’s celebrate everything Anishinaabe or Native American. November is Native American month. In honor of this month we celebrate the 13th Annual Food Taster where the cuisine will include, Indigenous recipes from the Decolonizing Diet Project, pumpkin cornbread, bison/venison meatloaf, sunbutterbutter cookies, roasted turkey, wild rice and contemporary Native dishes such as the three sisters casserole. Special features include drumming, dance exhibition and Native Flute music. Advance tickets are $5 for students with ID and $12 for the general public.dollars. Minajaadaa Anishinaabe.
