Idlenomore.ca began as a peaceful protest and quickly went viral with surprise flash round dances with drum, song and dance across Canada and the globe. Four indigenous women began the grass roots movement with Chief Theresa Spence and others culminating environmental awareness.Chief Spence fasted with nothing but fish broth and medicinal tea for 43 days as of January 25,2013.
