Mina-jaadaa Maadiziwin - Let us celebrate the one-the life-the medicine wheel of life. Life-Maadiziwin is central to the traditional Anishinaabe America way of expression and thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is every day of ones life or year. Mina-jaadaa Snow and Cold. Mina-jaadaa the season(s), studies, teaching, counting beans and take time to give thanks for the headaches, pain, and good life travelled though the previous year. In Anishinaabe country, it is time to reflect, and pause. It is the time to thank the seasons harvest. It is time to give thanks for the year. And the hope for tomorrow. In this case, Maadiziwin is the gift of life-or its leave. Mina-jaadaa Maadiziwin in all its wonder.
